The sockets are at opposite ends of the van, not just opposite sides
This is the most important paragraph on the page. Peugeot press material describes the normal charging socket as being on the "front right wing of the vehicle" and the fast charge socket on the "rear left wing". EV Database records the same arrangement independently: AC right side front, CHAdeMO left side rear.
In British terms the Type 1 inlet you will use every day is on the offside front wing, by the driver door. A charge point positioned for a typical rear quarter socket will be on the wrong end and the wrong side of a 4.4 metre van. Measure before you buy a cable, and if in doubt go longer.
A 16 amp ceiling, confirmed by Peugeot own charge times
The onboard charger is capped at 16 amps, about 3.3 kW. Peugeot own press release settles it by publishing times rather than ratings: approximately 8 hours 30 minutes to full at 14 amps, and 7 hours 30 minutes at 16 amps, on a 22.5 kWh pack. Those arithmetic checks out at roughly 3 kW and nothing faster.
This is an early electric car and the charger inside it is small by modern standards. That is not a fault, it is what onboard chargers cost and weighed when the car was designed, and it has a practical consequence: a 7 kW home charge point cannot make the car charge any faster than a 16 amp one. The car is the bottleneck, not the wall. EV Database marks every supply above 16 amps single phase with a note that the vehicle cannot charge faster, which is the same conclusion reached from the other direction.
A heading in the press release that has misled researchers
Peugeot describes the quick charging socket under a heading reading "Fast charging (3-phase 380 V)". That refers to the charging station supply, not the van. The Partner Electric has no three phase capability whatsoever; the socket under that heading is a CHAdeMO DC connector.
Manufacturer brochures are not always self consistent, and this one is a case in point. Template driven specification tables carry rows across from other models in the range, so a figure can appear for a feature the car does not have. We have checked the numbers against the battery size and the charger rating rather than taking the table at face value.
How long a full charge takes

The calculation is the battery over the delivered kW, uplifted 13 per cent for charging losses, quarter hour rounded. The miles column uses 3.5 miles per kWh, which holds up in winter as well as summer. Based on 20.5 kWh usable of the 22.5 kWh gross pack.
Peugeot homologated 105 miles on the NEDC cycle, which in real use means eighty to ninety. No WLTP figure exists; the van predates it. CHAdeMO reaches eighty per cent in about half an hour.
Do not confuse it with the e-Partner
The 2021 on e-Partner is a completely different vehicle: Type 2 with CCS, a 50 kWh battery, a 7.4 kW single phase charger and 100 kW rapid charging. If your van is a 2021 or later registration you want the Type 2 page, not this one.
How these cables are built
It is made to IEC 62196-2, CE marked, and sealed to IP55 across a -30C to +50C temperature range.
Three pin leads are made to IEC 62752, CE marked and IP67 sealed, with a -30C to +60C specification. The manufacturer warrants it for two years, delivery in the UK is free and next working day, and returns run to 30 days.

Peugeot Partner Electric charging cable questions
Is the Partner Electric Type 1 or Type 2?
Type 1 for AC, with CHAdeMO for DC. The 2021 on e-Partner is a different van and uses Type 2 with CCS.
Where is the charging socket?
The AC Type 1 inlet is on the offside front wing. The CHAdeMO socket is at the other end of the van, on the nearside rear wing.
Will a 7 kW charge point make it faster?
No. The van caps at 16 amps, about 3.3 kW. Peugeot own figures give 7 hours 30 minutes to full at 16 amps.
What length cable do I need?
Longer than you would expect. With the socket at the front offside of a 4.4 metre van, ten metres is the sensible default.
