The 11 kW figure is a three phase figure, and it matters here
The Kodiaq iV carries 19.7 kWh usable from a 25.7 kWh pack and Skoda quotes up to 75 miles of WLTP electric range, with independent figures closer to 71 or 72. Skoda also quotes an 11 kW AC charger and a two and a half hour charge, and that is where care is needed, because both of those are three phase numbers.
The 11 kW unit is 16 amps across three phases. Asked directly by an owner whose 7 kW home charger was only delivering 4 kW, Skoda's own technical support explained that the car takes about 16 to 20 amps from a single phase, which is roughly 4 kW. A British house has one phase. So the honest figure for your driveway is about 4 kW, not 7.4, and a 16A cable hands the car everything it can draw. Spending more on the lead changes nothing, as the car sets the rate.

The calculation is the battery over the delivered kW, uplifted 13 per cent for charging losses, quarter hour rounded. There is no 7.4 kW row because a single phase supply cannot give this car 7.4 kW however good the cable is. Skoda's published two and a half hours is the three phase row, which is what a workplace with three phases would deliver.
The DC socket is worth a mention because almost no plug-in hybrid has one. Skoda quotes 10 to 80 per cent in about 26 minutes on CCS, so unlike the rest of the plug-in hybrids on this site the Kodiaq iV is not entirely dependent on its cable. It is still the way you will charge it ninety-nine times out of a hundred.
Which length for a Kodiaq iV
Skoda puts the charging cover on the left front wing, so the front nearside on a UK car. That is Volkswagen Group's plug-in hybrid position and it deliberately differs from the rear offside used on the electric Enyaq and Elroq, which is a useful thing to know if you have both on the drive.
The Kodiaq is a 4.76 metre seven seater, so length matters. Nose in with the charge point on the left and 5 metres is fine. Reverse in, or park with the wall box on the offside, and the lead runs the length of a large SUV, which means 10 metres. Park the car where it normally lives, walk the run with a tape, and buy the next size up from what you measure.

Skoda Kodiaq iV charging cable questions
What cable does a Kodiaq iV need?
A 16A Type 2 to Type 2 cable is enough. The 11 kW rating needs three phases; on a single phase British supply the car draws only about 4 kW, so a 32A lead finishes at the same time.
Why does my 7 kW charger only give 4 kW?
Because the onboard charger is 16 amps across three phases, and your house has one phase. Skoda's own technical support confirms the car takes about 16 to 20 amps from a single phase, which is roughly 4 kW. Nothing is wrong with your charger.
Can a Kodiaq iV rapid charge?
Yes, which is unusual for a plug-in hybrid. It takes CCS at up to 50 kW, giving 10 to 80 per cent in around 26 minutes.
