Four models and, unusually for this site, one answer. Every Tesla sold here is Type 2, every one takes 7.4 kW at a British house, which the 32 amp lead delivers without throttling anything, and every one charges from the same place.
What changes from model to model
Anything above 7.4 kW in a specification sheet is counting phases a house does not have.
Very little, which makes this the simplest collection on the site. The Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X all take a 32 amp Type 2 lead and all reach the same figure on a domestic supply. Battery size changes how long a charge takes, not how fast it goes in.
The port is the interesting part. Tesla hides it inside the rear light cluster on the left of the body, behind a flap that opens on command, and that position is fixed by the bodyshell rather than by market. It does not mirror for right hand drive, so a British Tesla charges from the nearside rear just as a European one does. Several sources describe it as the driver's side, which is only true in a left hand drive country, and repeating that here would put the socket on the wrong flank.
Worth saying plainly: these leads are for AC charging at home or at a public post. Supercharging happens through the same socket with the network's own tethered cable, so nothing on this page affects it.
Working out the length
On length, err upwards. A lead a little longer than you need coils neatly; one a little shorter is useless. Five metres is right where the charge point is beside the socket, ten where it is not, and fifteen or twenty for a garage unit with the car outside.
A rear nearside socket is the kerb side at the back, which helps at a public post and means reversing onto a driveway is the cheaper option in cable terms. On a Model S or X at five metres long, ten metres of cable is the answer unless your charge point sits close behind.
