The point of the table is that you should not have to read the page. Find your model, read the last column, order.

Two models, both Type 2, and both of them sit at about 3.6 kW at a British house for completely different reasons. One is limited by a small charger; the other by the number of phases its charger wants.

Why the Mii Electric stops at 3.6 kW

Its charger is rated 7.2 kW, and that number is real, but it is a two phase design taking 16 amps from each phase. A British house supplies one phase, so the car draws 16 amps and settles near 3.6 kW. Half the charger waits for a supply that domestic wiring does not provide.

This one catches people out more than any other car we sell a cable for. Owners of the Mii and its Volkswagen e-up and Skoda Citigo-e siblings have taken cars back to dealers, had software updates applied and run diagnostic tools over them, all to explain why a 7 kW charge point only gives 3.6. Nothing was ever wrong. Seat's own claim of eighty per cent in four hours from a 7.2 kW charger is simply not achievable on a normal British supply.

What actually separates one {M} from another

Read the third column as the real figure: one phase, 32 amps, about 7.4 kW at most.

The Leon e-Hybrid is the other case: a genuinely 3.6 kW single phase charger on cars to mid-2024, and a 16 amp cable covers it completely, rising to 11 kW three phase on the facelift, which gives about 7.4 kW here. The pre-facelift Leon also has no DC socket at all, which Seat states in its own owner manual in as many words.

Port position splits by drivetrain in the usual group pattern: the Leon e-Hybrid charges from the nearside front wing ahead of the door, the Mii Electric from the offside rear quarter where the petrol car kept its fuel flap.

Because the Mii is held to 3.6 kW, its CCS socket is more useful than it sounds. A twenty minute rapid stop puts in more than three hours on the driveway would.

Which length to order

The run matters, not the car. Park as you normally would, walk the distance from the charge point to the socket, and add a metre or two. That number is what to order.

The Mii is a very short car, which forgives a lot even with an offside rear socket. Five metres usually reaches; ten gives you a free choice of parking direction.

Build is common across the range. Moulded and sealed to IP67, tinned copper throughout, flexible below freezing, covered for two years, delivered free on the next working day.

Why does my Mii Electric only charge at 3.6 kW?

Its 7.2 kW charger is a two phase design taking 16 amps per phase, and a British house supplies one phase. Nothing is faulty and no setting changes it.

Will a 32A cable help the Mii?

It will not make the car faster, because it draws 16 amps regardless. It is still the more useful lead to own.

Can a Leon e-Hybrid rapid charge?

Not before the 2024 facelift. Seat own owner manual states that DC charging is not compatible with the car. The facelift added 50 kW DC.
