Two models, both Type 2, and they differ on both of the things that matter: the rate they accept and where the socket sits. For a two car range that is more variation than you would expect.
How the models differ, and where it matters
Domestic supplies here are single phase, which puts the practical limit at about 7.4 kW.
The EX5 reaches 7.4 kW and the EX2 6.6 kW, so the 32 amp option is the sensible order on both. The 6.6 kW figure is single phase, so a British house supplies all of it and the practical gap between the two cars is about twelve per cent rather than the difference the numbers suggest. A smaller rating can be the better arrangement. A single phase charger delivers everything it claims on a domestic supply, whereas a three phase one loses two thirds of its phases at the meter.
Where the socket sits is not consistent here, so read the model page before you pick a length. Each one names the flank and whether it is at the front or the rear. One car charges from the offside front wing, forward of the driver's door, and the other from a rear flank whose side no source confirms. Where that is the case we say so on the model page instead of inferring it, because a wrong flank is a wrong cable.
Geely is new enough in Britain that published information is thin, so the model pages are explicit about which figures come from Geely and which are corroborated from elsewhere. That matters more on a new marque than on an established one.
Working out the length
Work from the flap to the charge point along the route the cable will take. Add slack. That is the whole method, and it beats ordering by the size of the vehicle.
With one car charging at the front offside and the other at the rear, ten metres is the order that covers both. Five works for the front-charging car parked nose in with the charge point on the driver's side.
