Ninety usable kilowatt hours in a people carrier
The EQV 300 Long and Extra-Long carry 90 kWh usable from a 100 kWh pack, quoted at about 213 miles WLTP. That is a big battery moving a big, upright, eight seat vehicle, and the range figure reflects the aerodynamics rather than the pack.
Read 11 kW as a three phase figure. A home charge point on a single phase hands the car 7.4 kW. So at a house the EQV takes 7.4 kW and a full charge from empty runs to about fourteen hours. That is genuinely an overnight-only proposition, and it is worth planning around rather than discovering.
The one case where chasing three phase actually pays
On almost every page here we tell people that a three phase cable is a waste of money, because houses have one phase. The EQV is the exception worth taking seriously, and the reason is the size of the pack.
On three phases at 11 kW the same charge takes about nine and a quarter hours instead of fourteen. If the EQV lives at a business, a hotel, a care provider or anywhere else with an industrial supply, that difference is the gap between ready-for-the-morning and not. It changes nothing at a domestic address, where 7.4 kW is the ceiling whatever cable you buy.

Each figure is the pack size divided by the power actually drawn, with 13 per cent added for charging losses and the result rounded to the quarter hour. Range added per hour assumes a year round 3.5 miles per kWh rather than a best case figure. DC rapid charging is 110 kW, which on a vehicle used for airport runs and long transfers is the figure that matters most on the road.
Which length for an EQV
The EQV shares its platform with the eVito, whose charge port sits on the left at the front bumper. We have not been able to confirm the EQV's own position separately, so treat that as a strong hint rather than a fact and check the vehicle.
What is beyond doubt is the size. The EQV is 5.14 metres long and 5.37 in Extra-Long form, so 5 metres of cable is not a serious option. Ten metres is the minimum sensible choice, and a yard, a hotel forecourt or shared parking is exactly where the 15 and 20 metre versions belong. Park the car where it normally lives, walk the run with a tape, and buy the next size up from what you measure.
