Not every Jeep on the forecourt takes a cable
Jeep sells several models in forms that look similar from outside and have no charging socket anywhere on the body. The Avenger is sold as a battery electric, as a 4xe, as an e-Hybrid and as a petrol car, and only the first two of those plug in. The giveaway is the charging rows of a specification table: a dash or the words self charging means there is nothing to connect a lead to.
If the badge does not say 4xe or electric, nothing on this page will fit, and no adaptor changes that.
Where the {M} range divides
British homes run one phase, so the useful number is what the car takes from it rather than its rated maximum.
Very little separates the three. The Avenger, Compass and Renegade 4xe all reach 7.4 kW at a British house, and a 32 amp lead meets it exactly, and all three charge from the nearside rear flank, one of them behind a push-open cover. For a brand this varied on the petrol side, the plug-in cars are unusually consistent.
What does differ is battery size, which changes how long a charge takes rather than how fast it goes in. The 4xe plug-in hybrids fill in an evening; the battery electric Avenger is an overnight job.
Working out the length
Work out the run, not the car. A socket on the far flank from your charge point adds the width of the vehicle to the distance, and a socket at the opposite end adds its length. The model pages give both so you can measure once and order once.
A nearside rear socket is the kerb side at the back, so reversing onto a drive brings the flap closest to a wall box on the house wall. These are compact cars, so five metres is often enough and ten removes the question.

Only if it is a 4xe or a battery electric. The e-Hybrid and petrol versions have no plug, and the charging rows of the specification table will show a dash.
What does a Jeep 4xe charge at on a home wallbox?
About 7.4 kW. That is 32 amps on a single phase, which is what a British home charge point gives.

Do I need a 32A cable?
Yes, to reach 7.4 kW. A 16A lead would hold the car to about half that.
Which length should I order?
Five metres is often enough on cars this size with a kerb side rear socket. Ten metres if you park nose in.
