A working van with a simple charging setup
Nissan sold the e-NV200 from 2014 to 2022, first with a 24 kWh battery and then with 40 kWh, and the charging arrangement never changed: Type 1 for AC, CHAdeMO for rapid, both in the nose.
What that means for a fleet is one cable specification across a mixed age yard. A 16A Type 1 to Type 2 lead works on every van Nissan built, whichever charger is fitted behind the inlet.

The calculation is the battery over the delivered kW, uplifted 13 per cent for charging losses, quarter hour rounded. Usable capacity is 22 kWh and 37 kWh. The early van was rated 106 miles NEDC; the 40 kWh version is 124 miles WLTP combined and 187 in town, which is the figure that matters for multi drop work.
Which length for a van
The nose flap makes short cables practical, because the van can simply face the charge point. Five metres reaches on a dedicated bay.
Where fleets need length is everywhere else: reversing to a loading dock, parking in a row where the post serves two bays, or charging at a driver's house overnight. Ten metres is the workhorse and fifteen covers the awkward yard.
How these cables are built
Built to IEC 62196-2 and CE marked, with an IP55 rating that covers rain and dust on an exposed driveway, and a working range of -30C to +50C.

Nissan e-NV200 van charging cable questions
What charging cable does an e-NV200 van use?
A Type 1 to Type 2 cable, 16A. The van has a five pin Type 1 inlet and every UK charge point is Type 2. One cable specification covers both the 24 kWh and 40 kWh vans.
Can the e-NV200 take a 32A cable?
It will connect, but the van cannot draw more than 6.6 kW, so nothing is gained. Put the money into length instead, which is what fleets actually run out of.
How far does an e-NV200 go?
The 40 kWh van is rated 124 miles WLTP combined and 187 miles in town, where a van doing drops spends its life. The earlier 24 kWh van was rated 106 miles on the older NEDC test.
Do all e-NV200 vans rapid charge?
Not all. Rapid charging was tied to specific trims on the early 24 kWh vans, so some are AC only. The Type 1 cable is what every one of them needs regardless.
