Four packs across two generations
The 2022 to 2024 cars came as 58 kWh (54 usable, 240 miles) and 77.4 kWh (74 usable, 300 miles rear wheel drive and 287 all wheel drive). The 2024 facelift moved to 63 kWh (60 usable, 273 miles) and 84 kWh (80 usable, up to 354 miles rear wheel drive). The Ioniq 5 N uses the 84 kWh pack for 278 miles.
All of them use the same 11 kW three phase onboard charger, so the pack size changes the hours and nothing else about the cable.

Three phase ratings describe a supply most British houses do not have, so the working figure at home is 7.4 kW. Hyundai publishes wallbox figures for these cars, and they are calculated on 11 kW. On a single phase British supply every one of them runs roughly forty per cent longer. The eight hours quoted for the 77.4 kWh car is nearer eleven and three quarters on a home charge point.
That is not a fault and it is not the cable. It is the supply, and a 32A single phase lead already gives the car the full 7.4 kW that one phase can carry.

The calculation is the battery over the delivered kW, uplifted 13 per cent for charging losses, quarter hour rounded. The range column is deliberately cautious, at 3.5 miles per kWh. Columns are the 58 kWh, 77.4 kWh and 84 kWh packs at their usable capacities.
The Ioniq 5 runs an 800 volt system, so DC charging is extremely quick, up to 233 kW on the larger packs. In practice that means almost nobody uses this cable for long journeys; it is the home and workplace lead, which is exactly where length matters most.
Which length for an Ioniq 5
The inlet is on the rear offside quarter, the right hand side of the body. That is the same position Hyundai and Kia use across the E-GMP platform, so it matches the Ioniq 6, the Kia EV6 and the EV9, and it does not move on a right hand drive car.
The Ioniq 5 is 4.64 metres long and sits on a very long wheelbase, so it takes up more space than the numbers suggest. Reverse in with the charge point on the right and 5 metres reaches. Nose in, or a wall box on the left, and 10 metres is the buy. Work it out from where the car genuinely sits, not where it could sit, and leave slack.

How long does an Ioniq 5 take to charge at home?
From empty at 7.4 kW, about eight and a quarter hours for the 58 kWh car, eleven and three quarters for the 77.4 kWh and twelve and three quarters for the 84 kWh.
Why are Hyundai's figures shorter than yours?
Because Hyundai quotes them on an 11 kW three phase wallbox. A single phase home supply cannot reach 11 kW, so the real times are about forty per cent longer.
