Long leads need a bigger bag than you think
A fifteen metre cable is not a ten metre cable with a bit added. It is close to double the bulk and a noticeable amount of weight, and forcing it into a standard bag ends with a strained zip and a bag that will not close. This one is cut for that size.
If you have bought long deliberately, for a shared car park or a charger fitted at the wrong end of the drive, this is the bag that goes with it.
Handling the weight
Loaded, it is a two hand lift for most people, so think about where it sits in the boot. Low and against the back seats beats perched on a parcel shelf. In a garage, a wall bracket is the better home for a lead this long and the bag then does the travelling rather than the storing.
Looking after a long cable
Coil in wide loops and resist the temptation to pull it tight. Long cables get dragged more than short ones, so check the sheath near the connectors every few months for nicks, and keep the pins out of the grit at the bottom of the bag by laying the heads on top of the coil rather than under it.

Will this hold a 20m charging cable?
It is specified up to 15m and a 20m lead is a tight fit, depending on how loosely you coil it. If your lead is 20m, coil it wide, expect the bag to be full, and consider a wall bracket for home storage with the bag used for carrying.
How is it different from the standard cable bag?
Size. The standard bag is cut for leads up to 10m, which covers most drivers. This one is built for the 15m and 20m cables that will not go into it without a fight.
Can I keep it in the garage rather than the car?
Yes, and for a long lead that is often better. A bag on a shelf keeps the dust off. If the cable lives at home rather than travelling, a wall bracket holds it without coiling at all, which is kinder to the cable.
Is the bag waterproof?
Water resistant and wipe clean, which is what a wet lead in a dry boot needs. Open it to dry the cable at home rather than leaving a soaked lead sealed in.
